Next up on Thursday night, Moravian Prep and Legion Collegiate Academy duked it out on the court.  In the first quarter, it wasn't the prettiest as both offenses seemed to struggle putting the ball through the hoop.  However, Marcus Kell stepped up for LCA, scoring eight of his team's 10 first points.

In the second quarter, both teams started to calm down and find some success on offense. Moravian Prep was able to get easier baskets around the rim, using their size and athleticism a little more and get to the rim. Raekwon Horton was the leader in the second for Moravian, while Kell continued to be off the charts for LCA, carrying the load for his team offensively.

Halftime: Moravian Prep 31 – LCA 27

In the third quarter, Moravian Prep continued to turn it up and attack in transition, getting easy buckets around the rim.  Getting several in the scoring column, they were able to increase their lead up to 17 by the end of the third, while LCA struggled with turnovers and knocking down shots.

Moravian continued to grow their lead and push it over 20+, as they cruised to a victory over LCA to end Day 1 at the Battle at the Rock.

Final: Moravian Prep 76 – Legion Collegiate Academy 53
