What a month of basketball it was for Phenom Hoops with the Phenom Hoop State Fall League, and it all ended this past weekend in Bermuda Run (NC). Several teams look to end the league with a championship, but Central Cabarrus/ NC Vikings proved once again why they are one of the top teams in the state.

Now winning back-to-back Fall League Championships, the NC Vikings have solidified themselves in a big way and are hoping that this is the first of more championships to come. Led by their trio of returning starters of 2024 Desmond Kent, 2024 Chase Daniel, and 2024 Carson Daniel, the Vikings were swarming both offensively and defensively. But what makes this team so intriguing and dangerous is not only their play style and defense but also the players alongside the three stars. Players like 2024 Noah Edmisten, 2024 Joshua Dalton, 2025 Jake Baker, 2025 Cayden Smith, and others all bring tremendous value to this team and understand where they can flourish.

It was a total team effort, as the Vikings finished the fall league with a 10-1 overall record, including a 77-60 victory in the championship game. But again, this may be just the start in what this program is hoping to accomplish this upcoming season.
