2024 6’9 Jarin Stevenson is ready for the national spotlight

At the Summer Havoc Session 2, there was one team that I was extremely excited about watching and getting a glimpse of the future.  It was my first time seeing Team United 16u in action this summer with Phenom Hoops and they didn’t disappoint, as they went undefeated throughout the event. There were a few players that I was familiar with and had already seen in action but one player that I...

Three Juniors Slated for Major Breakouts

This past weekend, Phenom Hoops hosted our annual Summer Havoc at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center in downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina. While walking by, it was then when I saw Baptiste...

Teams Catching Eyes at the Summer Havoc

The big names were out and about at the Summer Havoc, bringing a ton of talent that you may have already heard about. However, there were several other teams that caught our eyes with their play in Rock Hill; ones that may not always get the attention they deserve. Here are three teams that caught my eyes, whether it was their energy, their style of play, or their competitiveness.

FIBA SC trio show out at the Summer Havoc

One team that really captured our eyes and made a mark in Rock Hill was FIBA SC 2022, as they finished undefeated throughout the two events, going 8-0 at the Summer Havoc.  A talented group for sure, the biggest story from the event was the trio that was off the charts all throughout.  2022 6’3 Lebron Thomas, 2022 6’2 Xzavier Thaggard, and 2022 6’0 Joseph Durant were tremendous on the floor,...
