Player: Dok Muordar
Height: 7’0
Class: 2022
School: Premier Academy (Texas)
Game Description:
“I’m a combo forward because I can get rebounds, shoot especially well around the paint as well. My three-point shot is not perfect but with work, it’s going to be something if I can be consistent. I’m tall but when I get the ball close from the basket, I see who is open and who is not. So basically rebounding, mid-range, and blocking shots.” – Mourdar
Talk about a game-changer on the court, as the 7-footer Mourdar can absolutely impact the game on both ends of the floor. The blend of size and strength make him highly-intriguing and his continued development with his game should only have more college coaches coming his way. First off, on the defensive end, he can be an absolute force on the boards as well as altering/blocking shots. He moves really well on the floor, which helps him. Mourdar also knows that he needs to continue to work on his game and it should be a big summer for the young man.
“I want to put in work though… this summer is going to be a different thing for me,” he told Phenom Hoops. “I want to add more weight and also work on my shooting.”
Recruitment Update:
Right now, Muordar holds two offers early on but we have a feeling that this list will quickly start filling up. So many programs love a shot-blocker like the seven-footer, but also a developing big. When speaking with him, he says that LSU and Oregon State, the two programs that have offered, have continued to recruit him. He also mentioned schools like Florida and Georgia have also been expressing interest.
