Teams from all over the country came to Raleigh this past weekend at the Phenom Hoops LIVE, as college coaches swarmed the baselines to check out the talent. One team that played well and really was able to capture the eyes of college coaches and our scouts was All-Carolina, as they had players that performed well and could be hearing from programs down the road. We dive into a few players that grabbed my attention at the event.
2025 6’5 Devin Sims
Sims continues to catch your eyes with just how physical he can be along with his athleticism. He showed that time after time at the event, finishing through defenders, attacking and finishing at the rim, being assertive getting downhill, and excelling out in the open floor. Also showed he can knock down shots as well, and be a useful rebounder.
2025 6’2 Isaiah Green
I liked what I saw from Green on the court at the event. He showed that he is a player who can play at the next level and should garner looks. He is a smart guard that is quick and twitchy out on the court, not only doing a nice job in attacking off the dribble but also making defenses pay with his ability to stretch the floor from behind the arc.
2025 6’3 Jon Mwanda
Mwanda was one who was able to walk away with an offer and could see more interest come his way. He has good positional size, did a great job in attacking out in transition and showing his speed/ handles, and consistently was able to get paint touches. He scored the ball well but also facilitated nicely to his teammates. Liked his overall feel with the ball in his hands.
2025 6’7 Justin Brown
Brown continues to garner attention and play well, as he has the size, has tremendous length, and surprises you with his athleticism. He moves well at his size and can guard multiple positions, finishing at the rim and running the floor, and brings a lot of versatility to the court with his game.
2025 6’6 Brandon Adams
Another prospect that will grab your attention is 6’6 Brandon Adams, especially with his size, his mobility, and his impact in a variety of ways. Adams really showed good flashes of his game, being a long, fluid, and athletic prospect who can finish at the rim or space the floor. He does a nice job of impacting the game on both sides of the ball as well.
