Phenom Hoops was on deck for ACE Elite SD 16u, both Coach E and Palmer, as we got a first-hand look at what these teams will be bringing to the courts this season with Phenom Hoops. We dive into the roster from what we saw during the practice.

ACE SD Elite 16u Coach E

2027 Andrew Mahoney
Mahoney should be able to bring good value as one that can get to his spots, open up the offense with his perimeter game, and ability to compete in several areas of the court.

2027 Hudson Ponder
Crafty guard that has a good feel in being a playmaker, finding ways to produce off the bounce, score off the dribble as well as knock down shots off the catch, and be able to play on and off the ball. Sees the floor well.

2027 Kaiden Znyslowski
Znyslowski is one of the smaller guards on the team, but he is a competitor on the court. Does a nice job in helping run the offense, doesn’t force the action, gets to the open spots for his shot from behind the arc, but also plays within what the team needs.

2027 Kevin Rodriguez
Rodriguez was able to make his presence felt in a variety of ways. He was able to knock down open shots when available, displayed good range and confidence from deep, moved well without the ball, and was an effective option overall.

2027 Noah McCormick
McCormick brings a nice all-around game that allows him to be a useful tool in several areas of the court. He competes and plays with energy, finds ways to play within the offense, and produce offensively when the opportunity is there.

2027 Stephen Shalo
Shalo will be able to bring versatility to the floor for this team with his size. Has a chance to guard multiple positions, be used in a variety of ways, and make an impact in several areas of the court overall.

2027 William Batt
Batt was one that plays with a good motor and energy, as his competitive nature, his hustle, and his overall presence could be felt in a variety of ways. Made some tough shots from a variety of areas on the court but also a strong driver.

Dallas Long – DNP

ACE SD Elite 16u Palmer

2027 Brandon Geddes
Geddes was at his best when he was able to attack and get downhill, finding ways to get paint touches, using his length to his advantage, and finding ways to score at the basket. But he didn’t force things that weren’t there.

2027 Cameron Hodes
Hodes will be counted on to bring a nice rotation around the basket. Brings good size, is engaged on both sides of the ball, looks to be an active presence on the glass, and is disruptive defensively as well.

2027 Noah Hunter
Hunter is an intriguing prospect with his length and size. When watching him, he is comfortable operating inside and out, moves well without the ball, shows he can finish with touch around the basket, and will bring value in several areas of the court.

2027 Charlie Parker
I look for Parker to make his mark with his ability to knock down open shots from outside. Does a nice job in playing off the ball, showing good range and a smooth release, and should help open up the offense when shots are falling.

2027 Chief Hunter
Quick playmaking guard that excels off the dribble. Attacks well, penetrates and gets inside the defense, and finds ways to either score or find open teammates.

2027 Trey Smith
Smith is an interesting guard to watch, as I really liked his ability to attack and make plays off the dribble. Good burst to get by defenders, gets inside the defense, attacks well in transition, and does a nice job in mixing it up as a scorer and facilitator.

2027 Elliott Jenkins
This team will rely on Jenkins bringing that physical nature to the court, as he has size and strength in his game. We look for him to be a nice force in operating and attacking the paint, embracing contact, and finishing tough.
