The Phenom Summer Havoc LIVE brought teams from all around the country to Bermuda Run (NC) and not only did it allow us to check in on names we knew but also learn a few new prospects to watch out for. One player that our scouts were blown away by and think that he could be a diamond in the rough was 2026 6’7 Cutter Sisk with Tennessee Tigers.
Getting multiple viewings of his game at the event, Sisk was one that simply grabbed your attention with his production, his feel at his position, and his overall feel for the game. He still looks to be a young prospect, as he still has that young face, but he was dominating with his impact on the court. Sisk has excellent hands and feel down in the post, understanding well how to operate with his back to the basket, is excellent on the boards, and finishes at a high level. But the big man can hurt you in so many ways, as he creates second chance points attacking the boards, bullying defenders in the paint, being able to make plays with the dribble and handles, and being comfortable in stepping out from outside from three.
He did it all and we didn’t see anyone slowing him down at the event, as the Tennessee Tigers cruised through the competition with Sisk leading the charge. The 6’7 big man showed a ton of promise but there is also room for growth as well as maturing with his body, which makes him even scarier. Right now, his recruitment and interests are just starting, but I truly believe that this young man won’t be a “diamond in the rough” for long with D1 programs coming his way.
What Was Said:
“Sisk may have been one of my favorite players to watch and I’m eager to see how he continues to develop but also believe he is going to be name you will be hearing a lot more about. For a player his size, his fluidity, his handles, and his overall feel/touch are really fun to watch. He has excellent hands and touch around the basket, can pop out from the perimeter, surprises you with his ability to handle in transition at times, and can be a force down in the paint on both ends.”
“During the first two days of the event, our Patrick O’Brien took notice of Cutter Sisk and immediately relayed the message of him being a notable prospect. Upon further review, Sisk is definitely the real deal. He’s a big, sturdy post player with an impressive level of skill and overall feel for the game. Sisk is the focal point for this unselfish group and genuinely touches the ball as much as any big man you’ll see in travel basketball. He secures deep position on the block, utilizes his body to physically overpower opponents, and finishes effectively with either hand. Sisk is a real matchup problem due to his ability to be featured in so many different ways. His burly frame allows him to excel in any screening action, as it directly generates openings for his teammates, but also possesses vision, handle, and legitimate floor-spacing ability. Sisk possesses soft hands, terrific footwork, and mobility for his size. Add in his consistent rebounding presence and understanding of how to alter shots defensively, and it’s easy to be enticed. Although he’s already an extremely polished player, Sisk still has a considerable amount of long-term potential. Division I coaches would be wise to start getting involved before it becomes a bidding war.”
