The class of 2027 is shaping up to be a memorable one here in North Carolina, with players like CJ Rosser, LJ Smith, Jordan Page, and others already making their mark as national recruits. Well, it is time to fully put 2027 6’5 RJ Moore with that group, as he could end up passing a few of those names down the road.
Moore is coming off a state championship, one that he will certainly remember with a game-winning shot to secure the title. Now, he is on display with Garner Road this summer, as he could be one on the verge of blowing up even more. Holding a few offers already, we fully expect that list to increase quickly with what we have seen from this young man and he could enter an even bigger picture in the national rankings.
This is a 6’5 prospect that plays with a ton of confidence and simply has factors in his game that you can’t teach. Moore wants the ball in his hands and isn’t afraid of the bright lights, proving to be an effective scoring option from all levels of the court. He has unlimited range and a ton of confidence with his shot, he is such an effective scorer in catch and shoot situations or off the dribble, and can be a tough matchup with his 6’5 length. And he is one that should only get better as he gets bigger and stronger, as well as add more to his game. But from what we have seen with Moore and his potential, he has a chance to be regarded as one of the best prospects in the state and find a national ranking from many in the coming years.

Moore can typically get what he wants from all levels and is comfortable with or without the ball in his hands.
