Josiah Hill (HP Central)
2026 Karsten Swinney (Freedom Christian)
What a season Swinney has been having at Freedom Christian, averaging an impressive 28.6 points per game this season and has done so consistently throughout. We recently wrote about his impressive junior season here (Click Here), saying “While he is a very talented scorer, he also doubles as a talented basketball player who often scores out of necessity for the betterment of his team. Swinney defends, creates for others, and shines as a general leader for this group.” He truly understands how to score in so many ways, being a threat from outside (over 100 3-pointers made this season), speedy and quick off the dribble, and flourishes as a leader and playmaker on the court.
2026 Jalyn Connor (Lab U)
Connor is another guard who has had a strong season at Lab U Regional, as we recently talked about his game as well here (Click Here). Connor is a crafty and quick guard, as he can hurt you in a variety of ways. He continues to be an exceptional weapon from the perimeter, getting to his spots and showing the utmost confidence from behind the arc, hitting multiple threes within the game. But he continues to show that he can be a problem with the ball in his hands, changing directions, keeping defenders guessing, creating and attacking, and finding ways to score inside or facilitate to open teammates.
2026 Maverick Ball (North Hills Christian)
Ball has done a little bit of everything and has clearly shown that he is the go-to option offensively for his team. In a bit of an up-and-down season for his team, Ball has been the consistent weapon as a scorer, averaging nearly 27 points per game but also proving to be an impact player in other areas, as he leads the team in rebounding, steals, and assists per game. He has had two 40-point games on the season and multiple 30+ point games to lead his team, finding ways to create his own shot from multiple levels.
2026 Trent Clark (North Buncombe)
Clark has been a consistent presence for the last two years at North Buncombe, averaging 25ppg as a sophomore and now 24 points per game as a junior. Sitting with a winning record as we speak, Clark has truly proven how valuable he can be as a scorer, a leader, a defender, and simply his overall impact on the court. He penetrates and creates really well, but also can hurt you in a variety of ways. And as we mentioned above, Clark’s impact on both ends of the court can’t be denied.
2026 Josiah Hill (High Point Central)
Hill was one that we highlighted this past summer with his strong play, and he has only continued that into the season. He has been averaging 22.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.1apg, and 2.7spg at HP Central, he is a guard who understands how to consistently produce. He makes strong plays off the bounce, uses his size well, attacks in transition and mixes it up well offensively, and is a proven leader on the court. Hill finds ways to impact the game in an array of areas for his team and has truly stepped up this season.
