Though it is early in the season, there have been plenty of memorable performances and showings already to start the season. One player that has been making an early statement this season and that we have enjoyed watching play is a new face in North Carolina in 2025 5’10 Caleb Thomas. Coming from Georgia and now being in North Carolina, Thomas has quickly caught the attention of our scouts and is looking to be an absolute steal for Lehigh.
Thomas has a different swagger with his game, showing that he can have an impact in a variety of ways. He is a gritty, tough, and crafty guard who knows how to make plays all over the court. On some occasions, he shows just how dynamic of a scorer he can be, knocking down shots from outside and with range with confidence but also incredibly quick/crafty in creating and penetrating against the defense. Thomas has a dynamic feel to his game in making plays off the bounce and finishing with touch over defenders. Outside his scoring, Thomas also flourishes as a playmaker and facilitator, leading the offense well, creating off the bounce and setting up defenders, and showing excellent court awareness. Add on top of his scrappy nature on the defensive end, Thomas is one who simply can’t help but stand out with his play and impact. Though early, Thomas has clearly stood out among the best here in the state, and credit to Lehigh for locking him in for the future.
