What He Brings to Michigan State:

After landing a Top 25 recruiting class in 2024, Michigan State is off to a strong start in landing Top 100 prospect Jordan Scott from South Lakes, VA. The 6’7 prospect is the first commitment for Michigan State and certainly looks to be the building block to another strong class. He is a big wing who can provide a lot on the floor, utilizing his size, his skill set, and his versatility. What you have to like about Scott’s game is his ability to have an impact in a variety of ways, whether it is bringing value outside scoring, rebounding and defending, or being a creator for himself offensively. Scott should be a very useful tool on the court at the next level, as he can bring value in many areas for the Spartans.  He plays with confidence and a smooth feel, capable of scoring at the rim and downhill or with a smooth release in knocking down shots. The Spartans will be looking at several young prospects looking to develop this upcoming season, and Scott would be a good addition in the upcoming class in the coming years to blend in with the young prospects already in the program.
