2025 6’3 Pierce Hargraves (Sixers Basketball)

Hargraves may have had the shooting performance of the event, as he absolutely put on a clinic with his ability to knock down shots and his confidence from deep.  He has no hesitation in his ability to rise up from behind the arc and be a threat from three, as he ended his game with 12 3-pointers and finished with 36 points to lead his team.  Definitely one of the top shooting performances of the weekend.

2025 Braylen Mumford (Upward Stars Pee Dee)

Mumford made some strong play all throughout and ended up leading his team offensively with 19 points.  He plays with a lot of heart and effort on the court, and I loved his ability to make reads, deliver passes, and find his teammates. But he is also a very quick playmaking guard who attacks well off the dribble, is able to get inside and finish over taller defenders and is an effective leader on the floor.

2026 Ryan Chen (Mint Hill Lakers)

When talking about one of the best shooters in his class here in North Carolina, Chen has to be in the discussion and he proves it each time he steps on the court. Chen has a quick release and has the utmost confidence in his ability to get to his spots, have a quick release, and knock down shots from outside.  On so many occasions, Chen has been able to change the game for his team and open up the offense with his perimeter shooting.

2024 6’7 Taky Prosper (Mid-State Magic)

We wrote about him earlier in the week and he backed it up here on Day 2, as the unsigned senior continues to impress with his development and impact on the court. Prosper’s blend of athleticism, strength, and development overall is impressive, as he can finish at the rim, runs the floor really well, and shows more of his expanded game from the perimeter.  He hit several big shots from outside on Day 2.

2025 6’7 Jamie Brooks (LA Elite)

Brooks made Phenom’s list after Phenom Hoops LIVE and came out and made a statement on Day 2 at the Summer Havoc Live.  Brooks is an intriguing prospect with his length, skill set, and ability to impact both sides of the court. And again, he may be just scratching the surface of what he could become. Brooks was off the charts in his ability to score around the rim, showing athleticism and his ability to finish.  Clear appeal in his game.
