Continuing our talk and the NBPA Top 100 Camp that was just a few weeks ago, we now head down in the paint to talk about a big that impressed us overall with his impact and hard work on the court.

Bartlett was one that we had watched before and was impressed, and he only proved that more against some of the best talent around. Bartlett understands how he can impact the game but also surprise you as well.  Here is what we had to say:

“Getting another viewing of the big man in action, Bartlett continues to grab my attention with his toughness and willingness to battle. Barlett brings a football-like frame a 265 but can surprise you with how nimble he is on his feet. He makes quick, decisive moves to get around defenders in the post but also has no issue in playing bully-ball as well and bringing on contact. Overall, he was productive on the court, active on the glass, and was battle-tested throughout.”

Bartlett had a special blend of being a dominant and physical big in the paint, carving out space, bullying opponents in the post and around the basket, and embracing/finishing through contact.  But when you watch him more, you can be surprised with his quick and reactive he can be, showing quick feet, the ability to make decisive moves, and compete on both ends of the floor. I really liked his work ethic on the floor, and whichever program can secure his commitment will get a big presence in the coming years.

Bartlett has plenty of offers on the table that include Miami, Utah, Illinois, Washington, Xavier, Mississippi State, Minnesota, UCF, Arizona State, Kansas State, UNLV, Howard, and USC.
