2027 Julian Lowe (Jordan):
Lowe may be new to some and not so new to others, but we are here to say that this is a young man who needs to be on all watch lists for the Class of 2027. He showed why at the Phenom HS Team Camp this past weekend. Lowe, who already stands at 6’4, plays with the utmost confidence, more than many young prospects that I have seen, and can be an effective scoring weapon on the court. Lowe has a ton of confidence in his ability to knock down shots from multiple levels, being a big threat from behind the arc but also can make plays off the bounce and finish. He is a tough, high-IQ prospect who could make a name for himself even more this upcoming season.
2025 Dyzarious Carpenter (North Rowan):
Coming into the camp, there weren’t many that had heard of Carpenter but walking out of the building, all of us knew his name. The North Rowan prospect was certainly an eye-catcher with his play, as he was one of the most explosive prospects in the building. Time after time, he was flying high and either finishing at the rim, attacking in transition, or even making impressive plays defensively in blocking shots. A very explosive guard who was able to fill it up and led the charge for his team on several occasions throughout the event.
2025 Yasir Hall (Middle Creek):
Every time we received a box score, we saw the name Yasir Hall pop up as the leading scorer for Middle Creek. The 6’4 prospect really took it upon himself throughout the event to be a leader and true scoring option for his team. Hall could be in for a big upcoming season and should be one to watch and learn more about, as he mixes it up well offensively, gets downhill and finishes, understands how to draw fouls, and is capable from behind the arc. Watch out more for Hall this upcoming season.
2027 Avery Hicks (Wakefield):
Another new name personally for us at Phenom Hoops, Hicks is one that I would certainly monitor and gave us a good glimpse of his potential. Wakefield will have some experienced weapons helping the charge but Hicks is a young prospect that could carve a name out for himself. He has positional size at 6’4 that immediately stands out, but then he brings a lot of versatility to the court. Finishes well, effective scoring option, can score inside and out at times, and is one that just seems to be starting what he could potentially be. Hicks though certainly should be one that you start learning about more.
