Player: Jeta North
Class: 2026
Height: 6’2

Continuing to highlight players around the state here in North Carolina, we circle back around to a player who has continued to work hard and progress as a prospect, and is now being sought after by several college programs.

2026 6’2 Jeta North was a player we spoke about and grabbed our attention nearly two years ago at the Phenom Lakesgiving, where we had this to say:

“A new name to start watching more and monitoring is 6’1 freshman Jeta North. She looks to be part of a bright future for this program, showcasing her developing game and feel down in the paint. Really liked how she moved and her motor down in the post, showing a soft touch and feel to finish around defenders. Really did a good job in all areas of the floor.”

Since then, North has only continued to put in the work and has really become a strong force with her size, her skill set, and the potential that still remains. She offers a tremendous presence on both sides of the floor, being active on the boards and being disruptive defensively while also showing touch around the basket and the comfort level in stepping out as well. She offers a lot with her size, having a good feel in the paint, moving without the ball well, and having a natural feel on how to score/create opportunities around the basket. And the energy she plays with is right there.

Right now, she holds offers from UMBC and Appalachian State but that should only continue to increase with a strong summer and upcoming high school season.
