NBPA Top 100 Live Updates (Tuesday): 3PM Slot
Final: Pacers 104 – Celtics 105
Best Players I Saw:
2025 6’5 Meleek Thomas
Thomas did it all in this game, ultimately ending with a triple-double in leading his team. Thomas finished the game 14-for-24 from the floor but also was assertive all over the court. Offensively, he plays with a lot of swagger and does a great job in being able to create with the ball in his hands. He reads the defense, weaves through defenders looking for the open spots, and can score from all three levels with ease at times. Thomas played with aggression and was in attack mode all game long, but also made some terrific transition passes and was active on the boards. Very impressive game from the 6’5 prospect.
Game Stats: 33 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists
2025 6’5 Matthew Able
Able really caught my eye with his shot-making ability and confidence. A player who may go a bit under the radar nationally, he displayed his ability to score in catch-and-shoot situations or off the bounce. Able has a confident release, can score from behind the arc, and has a fluid release in his ability to get to open areas on the court. He finished the game 6-for-14 from the floor and went 4-for-8 from behind the arc. After watching him in this game, I believe more schools should get involved in his recruitment.
Game Stats: 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists
Other Players:
2026 6’6 Qayden Samuels
One of the younger prospects on the court, I walked away impressed with the 6’6 prospect and his overall feel. Samuels brings a blend of size, skillset, and upside, showing the ability to knock down shots from mid-range and from behind the arc but also scoring off the dribble to get to the basket and finish. Really showed that he can be a multi-level scorer. Stats: 20 points, 4 rebounds
2025 6’9 Jacob Wilkins
Wilkins was another player who was able to show flashes of his game and potential, as well as his impact on both sides of the ball. The 6’9 long prospect has a very good skillset and feel with the ball in his hands, being able to create off the bounce, finish high at the rim with his athleticism, and use his length to make plays on both sides of the floor. Comfortable from several levels on the court, has a blossoming offensive game but can also be active on the defensive end. Stats: 14 points, 5 rebounds
