2026 6’7 Josiah Sanders (Berean Baptist)
Sanders is one that I believe should be a hot target for several programs but might not get the attention he deserves (as of yet). You can’t deny the intrigue with a prospect at his size (6’7) and his versatile skillset. He is comfortable in operating from multiple levels, whether it is helping run the offense, playing off the ball, or using his size to operate down low, Sanders has shown he can do a little bit of everything. Sanders is strong in being a floor manager, getting teammates involved, seeing the floor in transition, and making high-IQ plays. But with his big frame, ability to create and bully defenders, get inside and finish, and knock down shots, Sanders offers so much on the court and I believe he is just starting his story in what he could ultimately be.
2026 6’1 Rassell Young (Mallard Creek)
Young had a bit of a quiet high school season but is amping it back up this summer, showing just how dynamic of a guard he can be. There is no doubt about it, Young is an electric guard with the ball in his hands; showing his quickness and craftiness, his blow-by speed, and his ability to be a scoring threat every time he touches the ball from all levels. Young still has room for growth and development, and that time should come as he gets older. But this is a guard that can be electrifying with the ball in his hands and knows how to be a playmaker on the court.
2026 6’9 Tyson Thompson (St. Pauls)
A hidden gem out east, Thompson checks off a lot of boxes but also is a true big man who has a lot left in the take in his development. With that potential he has, he is one that I believe should garner more eyes his way in the Class of 2026 and understand what he could ultimately be. Thompson though is a big, physical center that can certainly handle being physical down in the paint. He also has good touch down low, can be active on the glass, and can man inside defensively. Again, I’m eager to see how he continues to develop, understanding how dominant he can be to go along with physicality but schools shouldn’t be waiting; they should be making him a target today.
2026 6’8 Mason Robinson (Orange)
We continue the trend of bringing you size, and Robinson is one that I believe goes under the radar but has only gotten better, strong, and has worked on being more versatile as well as understanding the game. When we first watched Robinson, he showcased flashes of his ability to control inside defensively and also be an offensive option around the basket. He has added more to his game, looks more comfortable with the ball in his hands, adds different levels to his game, and continues to be an athletic big that can impact both sides. And like others above, I believe there is still upside left in his game.
