The Phenom Stay Positive was an excellent weekend that brought us new talent to learn more about and check out. We were eager to see the Team Charlotte program in action, as all ages and levels were on display on the court. Team Charlotte 15u was fun to watch as it brought us rising talent to watch out for, and a few names caught our attention. Though this is a team that has plenty of names to learn about, here were a few names that impressed.
2027 Cruz Miller
Miller is a very intriguing prospect with his blend of length and creativity. He has strong handles, a good chance of pace and direction, and does a great job in penetrating and attacking downhill, using his length and athleticism to his advantage. He is a strong creator that can finish at the rim and brings versatility.
2027 Caleb Nixon
Nison was one that I enjoyed watching; he plays with a smooth feel and is under control but is one that can hurt you in a variety of ways. Nixon has good size for his position and is comfortable in stepping out to knock down threes but also attack off the dribble to finish. Can help play multiple positions for his team.
2027 Brayden Milner
Milner was a familiar name that we had a chance to watch this high school season, and he continues to thrive in being able to get to his spots and be a threat with his shot-making. Milner has confidence in his release from behind the arc but is also one who plays with a ton of effort on the court.
2028 Bobby Montgomery
Montgomery has had plenty of experience early on, and was able to flourish in his ability to run the show, bring a balanced attack, and have a smooth feel to his game. He plays with confidence at his age, can knock down shots from deep, brings a scrappy feel defensively, and can be a playmaker for his team.
