The Tennessee Impact program is one that I believe college coaches should be looking at hard. Throughout, they offer prospects that can help future programs of all levels and we had a chance to see that this weekend. The Tennessee Impact 2026 is one that we are eager to see, and though this is a team that has plenty of talent, 2026 6’8 Trey Thompson and 202 6’6 Alex Leeth are two that should have plenty of eyes on them. We break down each.

2026 Trey Thompson

We don’t care if we sound like a broken record, but 2026 6’8 Trey Thompson will be a must-recruit big from Tennessee for many programs and when you watch him, you can see why. We first introduced Thompson last year.

And we got an updated viewing this past weekend, where we had this to say:

“Thompson is a player who should AUTOMATICALLY be on so many schools’ radar, and he showed that throughout this weekend. Maybe considered the best big at the event, Thompson showed everything in his arsenal with his game. He has a tremendous skillset overall with a great knowledge and feel for the game, excellent footwork, and such a strong feel around the basket. He is also excellent on the boards, playing with relentless energy and motor. However, what makes him so unique is his ability to stretch the floor with a TON of confidence, knocking down three after three after three with confidence. Thompson can hurt you in so many ways, and though he holds two offers right now, that list should immediately increase this summer and quickly.”

This couldn’t be easier to see, as Thompson continues to flourish as one of the more skilled bigs around the region and can hurt you in so many ways. Whether it is from outside or in, Thompson immediately becomes a weapon on the court.

2026 Alex Leeth

Leeth is another prospect to look at with this 2026 Tennessee Impact team, as the 6’6 prospect offers a lot with his game and bring a lot of value with his game. He is another player that we talked about last year, which can be found here.

Overall, this is what was said at that time:

“At 6-foot-6, he’s a legitimate wing prospect with IQ, athleticism, and an all-around skill set. Leeth displayed ball skills, defensive versatility, and the ability to do everything offensively. He’s a quality rebounder and passer with the tools to dominate his assignment on both ends of the floor. Leeth possesses a useful playmaking sense for his size and is capable of playing within a role or expanding his production. He naturally leads by example on both ends of the floor.”

Again, Leeth is a 6’6 prospect who offers an intriguing combination of tools, ball skills, and long-team appeal. His blend of size and impact in various areas on the court makes him appealing. He is comfortable in knocking down shots from a variety of ways, getting to his spots, scoring from multiple levels, making plays off the bounce, and can be used in a variety of ways with his skill and size. With what he offers, he should be a target for many schools sooner rather than later.
