WCBA 2026 has been a staple summer after summer, and this was a team that was able to walk away on top at the Phenom Queen City. Throughout the event, this is a team that played well together but you couldn’t help but notice the impact and effect that 2027 Nate Jones and 2026 Aidan Rousseau had on his team. Both were tremendous throughout the event, bringing production consistently throughout as we talk more about each from what we saw in Rock Hill (SC).

2027 Nate Jones

Jones is a player that we have talked about quite a few times in the past, but he is clearly becoming one of the premier guards in the Class of 2027 for North Carolina. Game after game at the event, Jones put his team on his back and he looked like that playmaker on the court. Jones is an electric, quick guard who does an excellent job in creating off the dribble, getting by defenders, and being a true scoring presence. But he brings an overall balance to the floor in leading the charge, whether it is scoring or facilitating. Jones is an efficient point guard who doesn’t force anything on the court, brings a ton of production, and can hurt you in a variety of ways.

2026 Aidan Rousseau

It seems that this is a forward that only gets better and better each time we see him. Every time he is on the court, he continues to add more to his game and develops nicely with his feel. Rousseau is a skilled, high-IQ forward that demonstrates tremendous footwork in the post. He shows touch and feel offensively, moves well in space on the court, and can be a strong presence on the boards. However, he is comfortable in being able to step out and expand the floor, knocking down shots, and having a fluid feel from multiple levels. Again, from when we first watched him to today, Rousseau continues to add and develop nicely, and he is one to really watch out for in the Class of 2026 here in North Carolina.
