2026 Dane Cassada (CP3):
Cassada is the definition of consistency. You know about his game, you know how he operates, and you know what he can do, but he continues to produce and be an effective option on the court for his team. Cassada brings physicality to the court with his game, and he is difficult to defend with his offensive ability to create and embrace contact, make plays off the dribble, and knock down shots from multiple levels. I do believe he should attract more eyes this summer.
2026 Jim Gatehouse (Team Griggs):
It has been some time watching Gatehouse since last summer, but he is an under-the-radar prospect that I believe should be earning more attention his way. Playing at South Meck led by Peter Moye, he should now be the true focal point for his team’s offense and he previewed that to start the summer. He has the tools to be a quality finisher, a player who can confidently knock down shots, is one who is comfortable creating off the bounce, and who uses his frame well to his advantage.
2026 Jordan Tate (NC Rise):
Tate has been incredibly consistent to start the summer for his team. Game after game, he was the one leading the way offensively. Tate was able to demonstrate that he is a strong creator that uses his frame to battle through defenders, get downhill and create, and find ways to finish quality shots on the court. He excelled in attacking down in transition, as he is a smooth operator who has been able to produce really well so far.
2026 Kadyn Turner-Scott (All Carolina):
It had been some time since watching Turner-Scott in action, but he really stepped up for his All-Carolina team and showcased more of his potential. This is a young man who has always had the size and capability to be effective, and you can see that he really stepped up big for his team this weekend. Whether it was taking over more, creating his own shot and space to score inside and out, and making plays off the dribble, Turner-Scott was able to mix it up extremely well from an array of levels.
2026 Nolan Ericson (Riptide):
Ericson may have opened my eyes the most as far as impressing me. I’ve known how Ericson operates in the past, but he has clearly taken his game to another level and his confidence on the court was at an all-time high. Ericson was an absolute playmaker with the ball in his hands, attacking out in transition and showing shifty handles, finding ways to finish strong over or around defenders, and really displaying his shot-making ability with range. Ericson was filling it up in impressive fashion all throughout the weekend.
