The time is now for college programs to act on players in the class of 2024, and Phenom Hoops has one for you that could see his name pop up a lot more as of late.  Recently watching Wasatch Academy, we had an opportunity to check out 2024 6’5 Fischer Brown, and we quickly could see that he should be a target for college programs.

Time after time, we hear about college programs looking for shooters, and Brown certainly fits that mold. He brings good size at 6’5 and after watching him in action, Brown can be a dynamic weapon from deep with his ability to knock down shots behind the arc. He gets to his spots really well and has a fluid, smooth, and quick release with terrific range. He can be absolutely deadly from the outside, as he can be off the charts off the ball in catch-and-shoot situations but also makes plays off the bounce and scores in other ways.

He is shooting over 60 percent from three this season, and shot 42 percent from three as a junior and 49 percent from three as a sophomore; it is in his DNA>

So, when we talked to him a few weeks back, we were surprised that he hadn’t received an offer but that recently changed in the last few days. The University of Pennsylvania is the first D1 school to offer, but we do believe other schools should enter the mix. Â When we talked to him, schools like Boise State, Central Michigan, Vermont, St. Bonaventure, and Clemson had all reached out and that list may have continued to grow since then.

One thing is for sure, Brown could be a tremendous late get for a college program looking for that game-changing sniper from deep.
