Player: Morgan Knox
Class: 2027
School: North Meck
The younger class here in North Carolina is looking special, as we have come across several impressive young players in the Class of 2027 who should be on several watch lists already. One player that we recently viewed and was impressed by was North Meck’s 2027 Morgan Knox.
North Meck is a tremendous team and one that has a nice balance of young talent but also experienced talent on the court this year. We have spotlighted a few of their players in the past, but it is time to look at the 2027 guard in Morgan Knox. When we were able to watch her in action at the Title IX Showcase at Myers Park, she was putting on a show and playing with tremendous confidence. For a player who is only a freshman, she plays with the confidence of an experienced veteran on the court. Time after time, she was able to be a consistent scoring presence on the court, finding the gaps to create, moving without the ball well, and knocking down shots from a variety of levels. Whether it was creating off the dribble, getting inside the defense, or showing that she can knock down shots from the outside, she brings a versatile offensive game to the court and is one that is scrappy on the other side.
She is one of several players that college coaches should be looking at with this North Meck team, as they look to be a strong contender once again this season.
