Asheville Christian is a very interesting program that has produced some strong talent in the past, and it seems that that talent line should only continue with a very interesting young guard in 2026 Ian Bailey. We had another opportunity to watch Bailey operate and be a playmaker on the court, and it is clear that this young prospect should garner more attention in the coming years.
Already holding one offer from Western Carolina, Bailey shines as a player who should garner more attention from D1 programs. When you watch him operate on the court, you see such a fluid player making plays on the court, whether it is for himself or others. Bailey understands how to play at his own pace and make good reads on the floor, displaying high IQ and handles, while also showing such feel in knocking down shots from multiple levels. He understands how to create his own shot and get around defenders, but also doesn’t force anything and looks to run the offense.
Bailey is calm, cool, and collected on the court, and just had a different feel for the game compared to others. Schools are starting to show interest his way, but we believe that his offer list should only continue to grow with what we saw at the event.
