The final game of our Tourney Town Showcase concluded with an exciting contest between Ben L. Smith and High Point Christian Academy. Things kicked off with the Cougars getting hot from beyond the arc and steadily building their lead behind a balanced attack. High Point Christian exited the first quarter with a 23-14 lead. However, Golden Eagles quickly matched with a strong offensive stretch of their own and managed to keep themselves within fighting distance—trailing 39-30 at halftime. Following the break, the Cougars stayed true to their identity and began to distance themselves on the scoreboard. Although the Golden Eagles continued to fight, High Point Christian managed to secure a 74-57 victory.
