Last game of the night, Freedom Boys welcomed Hopewell to end the night at the Phenom Freedom 828 Showcase.  Both teams looked to make a statement early and Hopewell did just that, allowing their defense to turn into offense. But credit Freedom who was able to settle down and cut into the lead, not letting Hopewell get away too early in this game. Second quarter though, the guard play for Hopewell started to take its toll, getting out in transition, and finding ways to get inside the defense.  It is what allowed them to break open a close game and lead 40-20 halftime lead.

Hopewell didn’t let up in the second half, as they continued to attack offensively and only expanded its lead up to 30+ in the third quarter. With the game well in hand, the buzzer chimed in what ended a great day of basketball out in Morganton (NC), with Hopewell winning 77-38.
