The second day of our Tourney Town Showcase transitioned into the next slat of games with a contest between Millbrook High School and Greensboro Day School. Action got underway with the Bengals finding success through their balanced attack and establishing a 14-10 lead after eight minutes of play. The second quarter featured more of the same, as the back-and-forth battle allowed Greensboro Day to maintain a 30-25 advantage entering halftime. Following the break, things got even more exciting. It quickly turned to a one-possession game with neither side giving an inch. Millbrook seemed to have an answer for every unfavorable momentum shift and even held the lead multiple times, but Greensboro Day held tough down the stretch to claim a 59-56 victory.
