Game 2 of the Phenom Freedom 828 Showcase, bringing Carmel Christian and Moravian Prep to the court. Two teams that have some strong talent to shine, they looked to put on a show in front of a big crowd. Moravian Prep was able to come out strong, scoring 31 first-quarter points to take the lead led by 2025 Eli Ellis. But Carmel started to get going offensively as well with 2025 Bryce Slay and 2024 Kameron Taylor. Ellis and company continued to lead the way offensively, putting on a strong offensive show in the first half and helping Moravian Prep hold a double-digit lead at halftime. They didn’t waiver from that double-digit lead throughout the second half, allowing others to get into the game and see playing time. Carmel continued to attack and look to knock down shots, but the lead was too great in the end, with Moravian Prep winning 84-65.
