Game 2 on the night, Cannon and Salisbury took the court in what was an exciting matchup between two future ACC stars in 2024 Austin Swartz and 2024 Jayden Harris. Both teams were looking to find a rhythm, as it was a low-scoring affair for much of the first half. Cannon was able to secure the narrow lead at the end of the first quarter by one and walked away with that same lead at halftime. Harris led the charge for Salisbury, scoring from outside and using his size to finish inside as well. But it was the play of Lincoln Vinson and Isaiah Henry that was able to maintain Cannon’s lead at halftime, 26-25.

The second half wasn’t much different, as this was a tight game throughout. Swartz started to get going but you have to give credit to the other players for Salisbury and Cannon for stepping up in key moments. 2026 Braylon Taylor was a difference-maker for Salisbury, creating and being a secondary offensive option for his team, while shots started to fall more in the fourth for Cannon. It was coming down to the final minutes and it was a one-possession game. With Cannon up one, Swartz was able to a tough And-1 and Henry knocked down two more free throws. It was a tough battle, but Cannon was able to secure the victory here in Greensboro.

Final: Cannon 62 – Salisbury 56
