Game 5 went underway here at the Hoops & Dreams Showcase, as Trinity Christian and Terry Sanford tipped it off in Fayetteville. Trinity Christian made a strong early push, jumping out to an early double-digit lead and making quick work to start the game. The size and guard play came out strong, with 2026 Justin Caldwell being an early force. It allowed Trinity Christian to jump out to a 29-7 first-quarter lead, and they only built onto that by halftime, leading 47-17.
In the third quarter, Trinity Christian was able to continue to go to work, getting others involved and using a balanced attack. 2024 Linwood Rowe continued to excel, while others like 2025 DeVaughn Brown chipped in. Terry Sanford was led by Parks Helms, but it just wasn’t enough as Trinity Christian was able to walk away with a 70-42 victory.
