Game 2 on the day here in Fayetteville, as Harrell’s Christian and New Life Christian squared off in an intense battle. It was a low-scoring game to start, as New Life was able to take an 11-5 first-quarter lead in this one. 2025 O’Dell Goodman and 2024 Kaleb James led the charge for New Life, who extended their lead to 23-14 by halftime. Harrell’s struggled to find their offense, as shots didn’t fall and they had to find ways to claw back into this game.
It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when this game really got interesting, as the McKoy brothers started to pick up their play to cut this lead down to as little as one possession late in the game. 2026 Antonio McKoy led the charge in the second half with 10 points, and Harrell’s had one last change at the end to either tie or win the game but came up short in the end. It was a battle at the end, but New Life Christian was able to walk away with a 44-42 victory.
