In a heated rivalry in Game 2 in the AUX, Carmel Christian and United Faith went to battle at the George Lynch Invitational.  Both teams looked to make a statement, and 2025 Bryce Slay came out red hot for Carmel, scoring 12 of the team’s first 18 points in the first quarter, which helped them to a 18-16 lead after the first quarter. The heated battle continued, but it was United Faith that started to make plays on offense and defense, led by their point guard 2025 JD Bowden.  But he had others coming along for the ride, as six different players got into the scoring column.  They turned the tables in the second quarter, going into halftime with a 35-27 lead.

The second half was just the same, with players really stepping up in a big way for each teams. Carmel Christian was able to stay within striking distance in the third, and started to cut into the lead late only down four points with under a minute to go. But UFCA was able to seal it away from the line and walk away with a strong 7-64 victory. 2024 DJ Boyce was off the charts from behind the arc, while Bowden stayed aggressive.  2024 Kameron Taylor and Slay led the charge for Carmel once again.
