2024 Steven McLeod (Gaston Christian):
McLeod stepped up big for his team throughout the game and in so many ways. A strong two-way prospect on the court, McLeod brings energy to the floor. He can be scrappy and intense defensively, is a vocal leader for his team, and does a great job in embracing contact and getting downhill. But he also competes in all other ways, as he led the way for his team on Day 2.
2025 Cedric Kenan (Asheville School):
Another vocal leading guard on the court, Kenan plays with a lot of tenacity and brings a scrappy feel to the court. He is always competing on both ends, was able to create and make plays off the bounce, get to his spots to knock down shots, and consistently get to the free throw line. Really liked overall how vocal and talkative he was, making sure everyone was on the same page.
2025 Jaylen Cross (Caldwell Academy):
What else can be said about Cross that we haven’t already said' This young man simply loves the game, loves to win, and competes 100 percent when he is on the court; always looking to prove himself. And he does countless times. He was at his best attacking the basket, getting to the rim, and showing strong body control in finishing around defenders, but also stayed aggressive on the boards. He finished with a double-double to lead the way on Day 2.
2025 Antrell Gilmore (Berean Baptist):
Gilmore was a new name that popped up, but he really kept his team within striking distance in Game 2 against Caldwell Academy. He was able to make plays and get inside the defense, finish tough inside and over defenders, but also knock down shots with range. He was the most consistent offensive presence on the court, and was the one that kept his team within the game.
2024 Zion Walker (TBS):
Walker was at it again on Day 2, continuing his strong offensive showing throughout the Carmel Tip-Off. The senior guard is the clear leader and go-to option on the team offensively; when his team needs a basket he steps up and delivers. His physicality and ability to body up defenders, as well as get to his spots to score is impressive and should only carry over to the next level.
2024 Sean Birmingham (Concord Academy):
Birmingham started slow but got going in the second half to lead his team. He is such an interesting prospect with his size and shot-making ability, as he has a pure, fluid release from inside and out. He was able to step out and continue to stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting, as well as be active on the boards, see and find his teammates well, and be the leader of this team.
