A player that quickly caught our attention and that we continued to talk about all throughout the camp, 2026 5’11 Kara Brinkley had a coming out party at the Lady Top 80 and clearly put herself on our watch list.
When we say she had a hand in everything on the court, we truly mean it as she ultimately won the Playmaker Award at the camp. Every time she was on the court, she was making plays and helping her team. She can play and operate from multiple positions, impacts the game in so many ways, plays with a tremendous IQ and feel, and simply knows how to be an effective weapon on the court.
She did it all… scoring as she averaged 12.5 points per game, rebounded exceptionally well, was able to create and make plays off the bounce and in transition, made terrific passes to set up her teammates after creating and getting inside the defense, and was a pest defensively as well. Brinkley did it all, and it helped her team in a big way throughout the camp. We are certain that she will be a name you hear a lot more in the coming years, and should quickly be on the radars for college coaches.
