Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.
Here is the latest commitment.
Player: Jahseem Felton
Class: 2024
Committed to: Seton Hall
What Has Been Said:
“It had been some time since we have seen him, but he certainly looks bigger and stronger as a prospect, and he seemed to play with a different feel on the court. There was a different feel with what we saw, as he was a player I couldn’t stop talking about throughout the event. He is a 6’5 strong and physical guard that can really mix it up well, plays with a smooth feel and pace, and was able to help run the show. Felton was able to score in a variety of ways, whether it was creating and knocking down shots from the perimeter, making strong moves to get to his spots to score, or finishing strong through defenders and around the basket.”
“Felton returns home after spending his junior year at Southern California Academy and will become a very important part of Combine’s overall success. Currently sporting offers from a variety of colleges like Auburn, Cincinnati, Creighton, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, and TCU. Felton will bring a rock-steady presence with tight handles, not to mention the ability to get downhill utilizing his strong, physical frame, but more importantly impressed us with his high basketball IQ and ability to create for others as well as himself.”
“It was great seeing our guy back with Phenom, as I was really impressed with his shot creativity, getting to his spots, pulling up with his mid-range and from behind the arc, but also creating off the bounce and getting to the rim. Competed, played hard, made plays, and led his team in both games on Day 1. Can’t wait to see what he does this upcoming high school season.”
“The other star of this game was 2024 Jahseem Felton and the way he has been playing towards the end of the season, he has been playing at an extremely high level and proving his national ranking. He put his team on his back late, played incredibly strong, had to play big and find ways to score, create for himself, and score from all levels of the floor on his way to 31 points.”
