2024 Bobby Cannon (Forsyth Country Day): What a camp it was for Cannon, as he impressed me extremely with his mindset, his leadership, and the offensive showing he put on at the camp. Averaging 21 points per game, Cannon was operating from all levels as the 6’10 prospect and was an effective scorer throughout. With his length and ability to finish around the basket as well as step out, Cannon came to the camp as a man on a mission and proved himself.
2024 Kaleb Spencer (First Flight): A player that goes a bit under the radar but it was more of a coming-out party for him as it is time to take more notice of the 6’9 prospect out east. Spencer should be in for a big year, and he showed why as he moves extremely well, runs the floor, and finishes at the rim but has the developing skillset of being able to step out as well. It is time to start learning more about his name and game.
2024 Ty Outlaw (TBS): Outlaw was another player who came to the camp and proved himself. He played hard, with a strong motor, competed, and was not only able to continue to showcase how physical of a forward he can be but also showed the ability to pop out and score from other levels. Outlaw was aggressive with his scoring, getting to the line, and battled well in the paint.
2024 Richard Goods (Grimsley): Goods is a forward that should garner more attention from schools, as he looks to prove himself in a big way this year. He started it out well with his showing at the Top 80, as he is a strong, athletic forward who runs from rim to rim, can finish strong and at the rim, can alter shots defensively, and is solid in being able to step out at times.
2024 Derrick Green (Fayetteville Academy): It seemed like every time I was watching Green, he was attacking and finishing at the rim. Dunking and finishing strong, Green was an assertive big man that showed flashes of his ability to be a force, carving out space and punishing the rim. He will be a big to monitor even more his senior season, as he looks to be a huge piece at Fayetteville Academy.
2024 Sean Birmingham (Concord Academy): We have said it before and will say it again, Birmingham is a player that could have a huge senior season and continues to flourish as a matchup problem on the court. For a player at his size, he has a pure, fluid release in his shot and is comfortable stepping out and knocking down shots, creating off the dribble, and running the floor well.
