The Phenom Hoop State Fall League was certainly one to remember, and it was an awesome four weeks from teams all around the state. And what we have noticed as well, is that teams use this opportunity to build upon heading into the upcoming season. So, with the Charlotte Eagles/ East Meck putting a strong showing on during the championship weekend, they hope to build upon that this upcoming season.
The Eagles battled throughout the first three weeks, but it was the championship weekend when they put it all together, going 4-0 on the weekend and defeating Papa Pete’s Patriots 55-54 to secure the Silver Bracket Championship. Players like 2024 Bryson Heath, 2025 Ahmari Hicks, 2026 Jordan Buzzard, and others all came together and had an exceptional weekend of basketball.
