What Was Recently Said:

Clearly set to be the primary ball-handler for this group, Jermaurhiyun Anderson will be a key piece for the Pharaohs. He’s a smart, tough, rugged lefty guard with a tight handle, solid vision, and the necessary quickness to get where he wants on the floor. Anderson is a capable perimeter shooter, but usually looks to touch the paint and make plays whenever possible. He’s a quality defender with sharp instincts, a high motor, and the ability to outwork his assignment on both ends of the floor. Anderson offers a pretty straightforward, well-rounded identity, and should have no issue being an impactful piece for this group. Like the rest, he should see a healthy variety of schools getting involved.

What To Expect:

Regardless of the coaching change at Quality Education Academy, folks should still anticipate Anderson being a massive piece for the Pharaohs. He’s a well-rounded guard prospect with a great blend of size, skill, and athleticism. Anderson comfortably controls the action as a lead guard, showing the understanding of how to properly initiate the offense, get others involved, and seize scoring opportunities whenever available. The lefty does a terrific job of touching the paint, forcing the defense to react, and making the proper read. He shoots it well from the perimeter, but also looks to get downhill whenever possible. Anderson is a reliable on-ball defender with the length, anticipation, and physicality to cause problems for opponents. He also rebounds well for his size/position. It’s truly surprising that more programs haven’t already extended offers to Anderson, but that feels guaranteed to change over the coming months.
