Coles is a dominant force to be reckoned with when he locks in. With his size, he can be a matchup nightmare. Great touch and footwork around the rim. The problem comes for defenders when he moves outside and knocks down threes. This stud can really stretch the floor. Solid court vision and IQ are also in his bag of skills which he uses in making the right pass or just being that imposing force himself.

Coles can really work those boards too. Defensively he blocks or alters a lot of shots. It’s fun watching him challenge offensive players trying to get shots off over him. Access denied!  The biggest improvement in the AAU circuit was his three-point shooting. That skill takes him into a completely different class.

During this AAU run, he left the Stars 15U in blocks, rebounds, and shooting percentage. Last season Coles was unable to play the regular season due to injury but more than made up for that in the AAU session. His best game was during the NCAA live period where he went off for 22pts. Joshua’s goal for the upcoming season is to keep getting stronger and being a true leader on and off the court as he leads his team on a championship run. He is a real game-changer and I believe beating him will be a challenge.

Coaches should know Coles wants to be a part of a program that will help him continue to develop into an unstoppable big man who can continue to stretch the floor while mastering his size. He is a proven leader and winner on and off the court and can elevate any program instantly. Joshua is certainly a talent with a tremendously high ceiling. Got to get to the gym and catch his show.
