Dishon Jackson (Charlotte): Jackson, who transferred from Washington State, is a player of interest for the 49ers.  Why? Jackson has experience playing for a big-time program as well as making 49 appearances so far in his career.  Though he has had to miss time in the past, he brings a 6’11, 260-pound frame that can be a strong presence down low for Charlotte.  As a freshman at Washington State, he showed how strong his presence could be in averaging 6.6ppg, 4.2rpg, and 1.0bpg.  Can he provide that again?

Yaxel Lendeborg (UAB): Lendeborg is an intriguing prospect to watch in the AAC.  Coming from Arizona Western, Lendeborg is a Two-time NJCAA All-American forward who is coming off a season in which he averaged 17.2ppg and 13.0rpg.  When you talk about his game, he is a 6’9 forward who can be explosive, runs the floor well, finishes strong at the rim, and brings versatility as well to the court.  Really like his activity level and it will be interesting to see what he can provide to the program.

Jordan Brown (Memphis): When you look at Memphis, there are plenty of names that could come to mind as new names to watch out for as the roster will look different than last year.  However, it is Brown who earns my intrigue as he has bounced around college basketball and is coming off a very impressive season at Louisiana.  Averaging 19.3ppg, 8.6rpg, and 1.2bpg last year while shooting 57 percent from the floor, Brown has proven the last two years that he can be a force in the paint but will he be able to carry that over once again to Memphis.

Bobby Pettiford (East Carolina): ECU could have two guards to look out for, but we are going to focus on Pettiford, as he is one that I’m very interested in watching and seeing what he can do for the Pirates.  The 6’0 point guard was a high school star at South Granville before heading to Kansas.  Though he didn’t see the same early success with the Jayhawks, now he is back home, in front of his fans, and has experience under his belt.  I’m very interested in seeing how he can help lead this team and showcase more of his overall game/impact.
