Phenom Hoops wrapped up what was a tremendous AAU season with the Phenom Summer Finale, and the stars came out to play. Though many teams were already done or wrapping up the season, there were teams that certainly put together interesting teams, and there were several big-time players that put on a show. 2024 Jayden “Juke” Harris was one of them, as he suited up for the Blue Diamond Wildcats this weekend. A top-10 player in the Class of 2024 here in North Carolina, Harris simply couldn’t be stopped throughout the event as he helped his team secure a championship to wrap up the summer.
Game after game, he had a memorable showing and there wasn’t anyone slowing him down.
Game 1: 43 points
Game 2: 32 points
Game 3: 32 points
Game 4 (Championship): 38 points
Kicking off the event with a 43-point showing was impressive enough, but he continued to back that up and fill up the stat sheet. Harris, who is committed to Wake Forest, is a very interesting player to watch this season and in the coming years in Winston-Salem. Harris has tremendous size at 6’7, and he has shown in the past that he can be a big-time weapon from the perimeter, but he was unstoppable with his ability to create and get to his spots, get downhill and finish at the rim, and score over defenders easily at times.

Harris showed touch, took advantage of his matchups at his size, and continues to be a weapon with his shot-making ability. And when talking to him at the event, Harris is locked in and ready for not only the upcoming high school season but also ready for his time at Wake Forest.
Last year, I expressed why Harris is such an interesting prospect, especially with his ability to get early playing time as he continues to work on his game and prepare for the future.
That still stands today, and he continues to be a tremendous in-state prospect for the Demon Deacons. And he showed why in his final travel-ball outing, as he not only walked away averaging 37ppg but also made a statement one last time this summer.
