What Was Recently Said:

Although there are a lot of quality pieces within this Team Charlotte roster, Arnold consistently stands out through his ability to set the tone on both ends of the floor. He’s a menacing defender who simply knows how to harass opposing ball-handlers into miscues and errant turnovers. Arnold’s blend of quickness, physicality, and sheer instincts allows him to legitimately mirror opposing ball-handlers until they are ready to crumble. Offensively, he’s able to get wherever he wants on the floor. Arnold possesses a tight handle and sharp vision, which allows him to effortlessly generate looks for himself and others. He also attacks the basket and consistently finishes through contact.

What To Expect:

In an era where so many players only prioritize one side of the ball, someone like Arnold shines as a genuine terror on both ends of the floor. He’s a smart, quick, heady two-way floor general who comfortably dictates the action while consistently outworking his assignment. Arnold is a poised, highly polished playmaker with sharp vision, a tight handle, and the ability to access creative angles with the ball in his hands. He’s an excellent penetrator and finisher through contact, but primarily looks to create opportunities for others. Arnold makes hustle plays at a high volume and forces turnovers at a consistent rate. Given his timeline (and overall maturity), folks should expect Arnold to have a breakout high school season. College coaches would be wise to start monitoring the young point guard prospect.
