2026 Kendre Harrison certainly has been a name out there this summer that has been making some waves, whether it was for basketball or football. Phenom Hoops recently spoke with Harrison about his offer from Florida State, but another ACC school has entered the picture.
Harrison recently made a visit to Wake Forest, this being his first basketball visit. It was certainly a memorable one, as he was able to walk away with an offer from the Demon Deacons.
“It was my first basketball visit,” Harrison said. “I loved it and will definitely remember it. (I was able to) tour the facilities and watch practice, then talked and met with the head coach.”
Harrison mentioned that he loved getting a chance to watch the team in action and was impressed with how fast they placed, as well as the family aspect of the program. He also noticed how much this team loves to compete, as he was able to take a lot from the practice.
When he spoke with the staff, Harrison said that they told him that he would fit really well into their system and that they like everything he has to offer.
Though it was another opportunity for Harrison when it comes to basketball, Wake Forest was also the first school to offer him in football as well. “Wake Forest was my first football offer, so having a chance to play both at an amazing program like Wake in the ACC is a great opportunity, and I can’t thank nobody more than God.”
