2026 Jamyr Coleman (Enloe): Here is a player that some may have already heard about, but is one that could be one to really gain even more momentum in his sophomore season. As a freshman, Coleman showed flashes of his game and finished the season averaging 4.0ppg. But with a year under his belt and one with more confidence, he could be a player that takes that jump as a sophomore. He is a high IQ guard that sees the floor well, makes strong plays, and has shown that he can not only run the offense and be a defensive presence but also knock down shots with range.

2026 Cam Fowler (Northwood): Northwood will be looking to replace two big-time talent from last year as they look to make a run at a title. But if they want to make that deep run again, they will need players like Fowler to step up. We believe though he is ready for that jump as a sophomore. He has the size you like, can knock down shots from multiple levels, and is one that showed he isn’t afraid of the bright lights. After averaging 4.3ppg last year, Fowler could be in for a big jump this upcoming season.

2026 Jim Gatehouse (South Meck): Gatehouse is a player that really popped off this summer when he played with Team Griggs mostly.  And now we are excited to see what he will be able to do at South Meck.  But if he shows what he did this summer, he could be a name that earns a lot more attention.  Gatehouse has a strong understanding of the game and displayed that he knows how to be effective and help lead on the floor. He has that blend of size that you like, scoring inside and out, making plays off the dribble, and being effective in a variety of roles on the court.  One to watch and see if he can make that jump in his sophomore season for South Meck.

2026 KJ Shouse Jr (Northside Christian): Shouse was a nice piece for Northside Christian and had a solid summer, but he is one that still goes a bit under the radar early on.  But I believe he will only continue to elevate his level of play and shine more on what he provides on the court.  He doesn’t need to be the focal piece on a team, just does what is needed and brings production.  Shouse can be a nice scoring piece for his team, helps on the boards well, and brings versatility to the court.  He is a name that could make a name for himself more this upcoming season.
