2024 5’10 Jordan Alston (Durham Hurricanes) This kid seems to be as tough as they come. Constantly attacking the rim, looking for contact. Has a strong build and isn’t afraid to use it. Over the weekend he was one of the most aggressive guards I saw. Someone to keep an eye on if you’re looking for a guard that’s tough and willing to attack the paint consistently.

2024 6’1 Mylon Campbell (Team Fayetteville) Mylon this weekend showed his versatility with scoring the basketball. He’s very shifty and can breakdown a defender in a 1 v 1 situation. He has surprisingly long arms for his height, which he uses to get multiple deflections and steals in clutch moments. He seems to be the heartbeat for Team Fayetteville. As he goes, they go.

2025 6’6 Jackson Fannon (Carolina Riptide 2025) Jackson had himself a weekend. He proved that he was one of the best shooters in this tournament this past weekend. He’s elite when it comes to catch and shoot 3’s. Yet there were a few moments where he would put it on the floor and attack for a drive, or even pull up. He moves extremely well without the ball and finds ways to get open consistently to knock down shots. He was a huge part of Carolina Riptide making it to the championship game this weekend.

2025 6’1 Jackson Burnham (Mint Hill Lakers) This kid has such a smooth game and is a fierce competitor. He showed that he could score with the best of them. Hitting plenty of 3’s and even getting to his spots at mid-range. He does this at an efficient rate as well, not taking a lot of shots but getting the best ones. I expect some coaches to be interested in the future of this kid and his talent.

2024 5’9 Jabir Jefferson (South Charlotte Bolts) Jabir is the type of PG that just has an amazing feel for the game. When his team was in a drought, he provided scoring. When the team was getting rattled, he would calm them down and get the best possible shot in that possession. It was impressive how often he got paint touches and made the right read once confronted by the defense. Jabir is very skilled and should be getting some kind of recruitment at some level.

2026 6’0 Henry Trent (NC Spartans Brown) Henry showcased his smooth stroke from beyond the arc, as well as being able to knock down the mid-range jumper off the dribble. He can snake his way to the basket and finish at the cup too. He’s a good ball handler and seems to make the right decision when the defense collapses on him. Someone to keep an eye on in the future.

2025 6’3 Caden Medolia (Carolina Riptide 2025) Caden is a very aggressive and smart player. His motor makes up for his size by constantly creating extra opportunities for his teammates with offensive rebounds. He moves extremely well off the ball, keeping the defense active and attentive to where he is. He’s very efficient around the rim and isn’t afraid of contact.
