7’0 ’24 Chol Machot (Winston-Salem Christian)
There were a lot of impressive performers on display, but Machot was arguably above the rest. He’s an extremely long, mobile big man with touch, athleticism, and interior instincts on both ends of the floor. Machot finishes above the rim, rebounds with consistency, and alters shots at a high volume. He also spaces the floor and runs well in transition. Machot has already considerably progressed, but still has a clear amount of upside.
6’2 ’25 Cam Flippen (Team Push)
Given everything he does for this group, Flippen should see increased traction with college coaches. He’s a smart, strong, physical guard prospect with a quality balance between scoring and playmaking. Flippen is a tough, reliable defender and displays great anticipation for forcing turnovers. He also rebounds well for his size and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. Flippen feels due for an uptick in his recruitment over the coming months.
6’4 ’24 Camden Edmonds (NC Spartans)
Although it would be easy to talk about several guys from the Spartans organization, Edmonds stood out with his phenomenal scoring polish. He applied pressure from all levels, both off the catch and bounce, and looked to defer to others as needed. Edmonds can create his own shot, work without the ball, and alter his approach based on matchup. He continues to play at a high level and his recruitment should reflect that notion.
6’2 ’25 Nas Berry (Upward Stars Carolinas)
Despite being one of the younger prospects on this roster, Berry was among their main difference-makers throughout the day. He’s a smart, well-rounded guard with the ability to produce in various roles. Berry can run a team and create opportunities for others, but also possesses nice scoring prowess, defensive engagement, and a willingness to make hustle plays. He scored in numerous ways and hit shots at critical moments. Expect Berry to have a highly productive high school season.
5’10 ’25 Darnarian Gibson (Big Shots Elite)
It’s easy to be entertained by the Big Shots Elite group, and Gibson shined as one of their top contributors in this contest. He’s a balanced floor general with a quality blend of IQ, pace, vision, and three-level scoring instincts. Gibson handles the ball with poise and looks to involve others whenever possible, but also actively takes advantage of scoring chances within the flow of the offense. He’s a scrappy on-ball defender with the necessary quickness and instincts to force opposing ball-handlers into a ton of miscues. Gibson should return as a productive piece during the upcoming season.
