The current travel ball season has served as a major tipping point for a lot of different prospects to separate themselves from the pack. Take CC Elite, a program that opened the spring in an impressive fashion and attracted a lot of coaches early on. Eventually, their top player (Grant Hamilton) joined a shoe-circuit team. Where this would be negative for most teams, it actually allowed new individuals to step up and shine. Although the entire roster is worthy of attention from college coaches, three specific guys stood out—Cameron McKinney, Cinjun Bridges, and Tyree White.

Each of the trio has seen an uptick in recruitment, but let’s take a quick look at their respective identities. Though slightly undersized, McKinney is a tough, rugged, blue-collar forward/post with a nonstop motor and physical approach on both ends of the floor. He moves well without the ball, finishes around the basket, does the dirty work, and overwhelms opponents with his maximum effort as a defender and rebounder. Meanwhile, Bridges took the departure of his teammate to seamlessly assert himself as their main shooting threat. Not only is he a reliable spot-up option with length and vision, but Bridges proved capable of being able to attack off the bounce and contain his assignment defensively. Rounding out the group, White offers an extremely steady, poised presence on both ends of the floor. He controls the tempo with a quality blend of IQ, pace, and balance between scoring and playmaking. Each of the three should already be priorities for next-level coaches. There are additional details and information listed below:

Cameron McKinney-Forward- 6’5”-Parkwood High School-2022-2023 All Conference-13.6ppg 7.7rpg

Interest- Davidson-Davie, Dyersburg St., Fayetteville Tech, Louisburg, Sandhills, Southern Arkansas Tech

What his coach said, “McKinney really exploded this season for CC Elite 2024. As a perfect fit for their running style, he consistently beat everyone down the floor in transition and finished at a very high rate. Cam has a very high motor that translates into solid defense against all types of players and a very solid rebounder. He is extremely athletic and should have a big year for Parkwood High School as a candidate for player of the year in the conference.”

Cinjun Bridges-Guard- 6’1”-Marvin Ridge High School-4.9 GPA-2022-2023 12.5ppg-54 threes (34%)

Interest- App St., Elon, Erskine, Guilford, Lees McRae, Newberry, Pfeiffer, Roanoke

What his coach said, “Bridges came into the travel season known as a shooter. He made 120 threes in 51 games while shooting 36% for Marvin Ridge in his first 3 seasons. However, it was his basketball IQ that also stood out. Cinjun brought the ball up in transition consistently making plays and setting up teammates. He moves extremely well off the ball and finishes very well off drives and timely cuts to the basket. Of course his 3 point shooting is still what will catch a coach’s eye. Bridges finished the July Live Periods averaging 17.4ppg and 4.6 made 3s per game in 9 games.”

Tyree White-Point Guard- 6’0” – Covenant Day (2025) 2022-2023 Sun Valley High School-All Conference-18.2ppg 5.0rpg 5.2apg

Receiving interest: Belmont Abbey, Catawba, Guilford, Presbyterian, Radford, San Diego, Wingate

What his coach said, “After reclassing to the 2025 class, White has to be seriously looked at by colleges as someone who can run a team from the point. Tyree is a true floor general that is an extension of the coaches on the floor He just plays so strong physically and has such a high basketball IQ, that he is extremely tough to turn over. He is a pass first point guard who has impressed with his court vision all season, but also has the ability to score at all levels. He averaged 18.2ppg for Sun Valley High School last season and showed he can post smaller guards, finish at the rim, and step out and hit the 3. He was the engine that really made the fastbreak style of CC Elite work at a high level.”
