A fast-rising player here in North Carolina has really elevated his play and continues to get better and better each time we see him. 2024 Jayan Walker is one that we have talked about for quite some time, but you can see that he continues to progress very well as a player. At the NC Top 80, we had this to say about his game:

“He’s a big, strong, well-rounded wing prospect with an excellent combination of IQ, size, and athleticism. Walker is a versatile, adaptable cog who can reliably produce in numerous different roles. He can defend and outrebound bigger opponents, or simply overpower smaller guys. Walker is a great finisher, shooter, and useful creator who can generate clean looks for himself and others with relative ease. He forces turnovers at a nice rate and applies great pressure in transition.”

We recently spoke with Walker about his rise and recruitment after watching him again in Rock Hill; check out what he had to say.
