The Phenom Summer Havoc has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the coverage stops there as we want to talk a little bit more about what we saw on the court throughout the last four days. Here are a few topics that I was able to view at the event, and what is great is that this team will be back in action this weekend at the Phenom Hardwood Classic.

Carolina Riptide Hickory 2025 is coming off an impressive 5-1 showing at the Phenom Summer Havoc, and they have been a team that has performed really well all throughout the summer.  They will also be back on display at the Hardwood Classic, as college coaches will be able to check them out again. So let’s dive more into the roster:

2026 Noah VanBeurden is a young player that certainly helps his team. He can be a knockdown shooter, creates and has strong handles, plays with poise and a strong feel, creates well off the bounce, and can finish and be an offensive weapon in a variety of ways.

2025 Tyler Cline is a savvy guard that simply knows how to be a point guard and a facilitator on the court.  He runs the floor well, showcases tremendous vision and court awareness, plays hard on the boards, and is a strong finisher.

2025 Charles Murray is another guard that can get it done. He presents great size at 6’4 at his position, showing a strong ability to break down defenders and make plays out in space. He uses his size and athleticism to finish well, brings a defensive presence, and attacks the glass with his 6’4 frame.

2025 Sylas Coleman brings versatility with his 6’5 frame; just does a bit of everything on the court, can stretch the floor but also play with his back to the basket. He presents good footwork, can handle the ball well, and can be a tough matchup on the floor.

2025 Graham Orndoff has range to go with his game. He has no issue in knocking down shots from behind the arc but also can mix it up in finishing inside. Good handles that allow him to create well, makes good decisions, and has a strong vision as well. Very valuable player on both ends.

2025 Christian Etter is known for his presence on the boards, finishing through contact and at the rim, and simply being a physical presence on the court.  But he also can be another option that can step outside and knock down shots.

2025 Davie Hartsoe wraps up the roster and is one that continues to get better and better. Finishing strong at the basket, makes a presence felt defensive, is a valuable role player and does what is needed for his team, and simply is that physical prospect that every team needs.
