The Phenom Summer Havoc has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the coverage stops there as we want to talk a little bit more about what we saw on the court throughout the last four days. Here are a few topics that I was able to view at the event.
Eastern Carolina Phenomz has been a team that has performed extremely well on the Phenom Hoops platform, and 2024 6’6 Bo Koebbe has been one of the clear leaders. Tucked away out on the east coast in Jacksonville, NC, Koebbe has been a consistent presence for Living Water Christian where he is coming off a season in which he averaged 15ppg, 12rpg, 4.7apg, and 2.3spg. And he only continues to flash his potential and impact with Eastern Carolina Phenomz. Koebbe has legit size for his position and is one that understands how to be effective in a variety of ways. Whether it is stretching and knocking down shots with range, creating and pulling up off the dribble, finishing around the basket, being a presence on the boards, and simply showing his IQ and feel for the game, Koebbe looks to be a hidden talent around North Carolina that you simply don’t hear much about.

“Koebbe is a player that goes about his business and brings it each time we get a chance to view him. The 6’6 prospect is able to score and operate in a variety of ways, scoring inside and finishing strong but also is able to knock down shots off the bounce and from behind the arc. Very versatile player that can be used in a variety of ways, and impacts the game in several ways as well.”
